East Brunswick, NJ –June-01-2014– Morten Nicolaisen was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ceres Terminals Incorporated (CTI) andYusen Terminals Inc. (YTI) effective June 1, 2014.
Prior to joining Ceres and Yusen Terminals, Mr. Nicolaisen was appointed President of Direct ChassisLink, Inc. (DCLI) when Maersk Inc. sold the company to Private Equity in March 2012. Before joining DCLI, he had a 26-year global career with AP Moller-Maersk; most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Maersk Inc., Madison, NJ, a position held since June 2004 where Mr. Nicolaisen and his family relocated to the U.S. As CFO,he was a member of the executive management team with responsibilities covering all APM-Maersk business activities in North America including Maersk Line, APM Terminals and other operating entities as well as a numberof M&A projects etc.
Mr. Nicolaisen began his career in 1986 at the A.P. Mǿller - Maersk A/S head office in Copenhagen. Early in his career, he served in financial positions globally. Mr. Nicolaisen held numerous positions of increasing responsibility, including serving as CFO for APM Terminals International (Netherlands) as well as Regional CFO of Maersk West and Central Asia (Dubai) and Maersk South America (Brazil).
Mr. Nicolaisen has an Executive MBA (Finance) from Rutgers University and a Degree from Copenhagen Business School. He is based in CTI’s corporate headquarters in East Brunswick, NJ.
