Bayonne, New Jersey

Ceres Terminals Incorporated entered New York/New Jersey's cruise stevedoring business when it was selected by Royal Caribbean International in 2004 to provide stevedoring and related terminal services for RCCL’s new cruise terminal, Cape Liberty Cruise Port, in Bayonne, New Jersey. Ceres Atlantic Terminals, Inc. (CATI) was created in the Port of NY & NJ for the purpose of servicing Royal Caribbean International's cruise ships as well as other cruise lines entering the service in the Port. Ceres Atlantic Terminals obtained Waterfront Commission of New York Harbor Stevedoring Licenses for the new Ceres Cruise Services company, hiring agents and management staff personnel. Within a time frame of only three months, Ceres coordinated all equipment requirements, leases and purchases in a timely manner for RCCL to open in record time in May 2004. Since its start-up, Cape Liberty Cruise Port has received the highest guest satisfaction rating by RCCL. Since that time, Ceres has added Celebrity Cruises to our customer roster, handling a total of over 80 vessel calls and 550,000 passengers each year.
